Let the Sun Shine In
Today, four months after we paid for our building permit and removed the insulation and framing around our existing basement windows, the concrete cutters arrived to cut our foundation and put in larger egress windows in our basement for our planned bedroom and recreation room development. They did a fantastic job. It was worth the wait.

Cool - and so it begins! When is this project going to be completed?
There is nothing like lighting up a basement with natural light to make it seem more homey.
Congratulations on finally getting it done, I'm sure your family will appreciate it.

I am just glad it is started. Despite the "economic turndown" we have been having a hard time getting contractors to return our calls. Next on the list is plumbing and heating - they hopefully can come in March, but likely it will be April.
